Ready Meals Procurement for Pirkanmaa and Vesilahti

Tuomi Logistiikka Oy is conducting a procurement process for ready meals and portion meals to meet the needs of Pirkanmaan Voimia Oy and the municipality of Vesilahti. The procurement is divided into the following categories: Category 1 - Portion Meals (1 supplier will be selected), Category 2 - Ready Meals (2 suppliers will be selected), Category 3 - Emergency Products (1 supplier will be selected). Category 2 - Ready Meals also includes transitional products, which are product lines that will be ordered under the Ready Meals and Portion Meals procurement agreement when the wholesale food procurement agreement ends, estimated to start from March 1, 2027. This procurement also includes seasonal products (see more details in section 7.2 of the draft agreement). Internal competitions for seasonal products within the framework agreement will be conducted among all selected suppliers in categories 1, 2, and 3. The goal of the procurement is to ensure that end customers receive safe, tasty, nutritious, and age-appropriate food products at the service locations of the buyer.
