Romania – Railway Bridge Construction Works – Rehabilitation of Bridges, Viaducts, and Railway Tunnels Phase II in the Galați Region

This procurement aims to design and execute works related to the investment objective "Rehabilitation of Bridges, Viaducts, and Railway Tunnels" Phase II in the Galați Region. The project includes the preparation of technical designs and execution details, which will be verified by certified technical inspectors, and obtaining construction permits. Approval from AFER for the specifications developed within the technical project will be obtained. The works will be executed following the approval of the railway and road traffic management plan. The general objectives of the project are as follows: • Improve railway traffic safety; • Reduce adverse environmental effects; • Ensure the safe transport of people and goods; • Eliminate and reduce costs generated by railway accidents and incidents; • Increase the efficiency of operation and maintenance activities; • Eliminate associated risks or restrictions, such as speed restrictions, tonnage limits, speed limitations, gauge limitations, and flood risks. Minimum investment indicators: Lot 1 (New double-track bridge with an opening of 11m; Rehabilitation of the single-track embankment over approximately 60m; Complete restoration of 60 meters of single-track line). Lot 2 (New double-track bridge with an opening of 6m; Rehabilitation of the double-track embankment over approximately 20m; Complete restoration of 470 meters of double-track line). Lot 3 (New single-track bridge with openings of 50+100m; Rehabilitation of the single-track embankment over approximately 1,260m; Complete restoration of 1,260 meters of single-track line). Lot 4 (New single-track bridge with 4 openings of 34m each; Rehabilitation of the single-track embankment over approximately 20m; Complete restoration of 240 meters of single-track line). Lot 5 (New single-track railway bridge with an opening of 43.40m; Rehabilitation of the single-track embankment over approximately 400m; Complete restoration of 430 meters of single-track line). Lot 6 (New single-track bridge with openings of 65.00m + 70.00m, with a concrete trough; Rehabilitation of the single-track embankment over approximately 20m; Complete restoration of 155 meters of single-track line). Lot 7 (New single-track bridge with an opening of 12m; Rehabilitation of the single-track embankment over approximately 20m; Complete restoration of 35 meters of single-track line). Any interested economic operator has the right to request clarifications/additional information regarding the award documentation 22 days before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting entity will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarifications/additional information regarding the award documentation on the 12th day before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting entity will not respond to clarification requests submitted after the established deadline. Any request for clarifications must be submitted in SEAP, signed with an extended electronic signature.
