Facade Construction for Multifunctional Building in Hamburg

SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, is responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, and managing school properties while considering educational needs and economic principles. This contract involves the construction of a multifunctional building that will include a cafeteria with a kitchen, spaces for all-day care, and a single-field sports hall. The building will be two stories high. The ground floor will house the all-day care area with the cafeteria (dining area and kitchen) and rooms for all-day supervision, as well as ancillary and technical areas. The upper floor will feature a single-field sports hall with changing rooms, equipment rooms, and additional ancillary spaces. The new building will be situated along Kirchenweg, filling the space between the existing Paula building and the newly constructed classroom building, thereby enclosing the spacious schoolyard. The project specifically requires a post-and-beam facade.
