Medical Equipment for Oncology Project in Sibiu

This contract involves the supply and installation of medical equipment as part of the project "Investments in the Public Infrastructure of the Pathology Laboratory at the Sibiu County Emergency Clinical Hospital," funded through the Health Program 2021 – 2027. The estimated value of the contract is 19,633,897.86 lei excluding VAT, which includes: Lot 1 (SPECT CT) valued at 5,854,000.00 lei excluding VAT: 1 unit; Lot 2 (Robotic System for Compounding Sterile Cytostatic Drug Preparations) valued at 4,181,428.56 lei excluding VAT: 1 unit; Lot 3 (CT 320 sections) valued at 8,210,235.00 lei excluding VAT: 1 unit; Lot 4 (Ultrasound Machines: Fixed Ultrasound with Elastography and Mobile Color Doppler Ultrasound) valued at 1,388,234.30 lei excluding VAT: 1 + 1 units. The procurement procedure is initiated under a suspensive clause, meaning that the conclusion of the public procurement contract is contingent upon the allocation of budget credits for this purpose. If, for any reason, the budget commitments/credits are not allocated within 6 months from the date of the procedure report and the resolution of any complaints, the procurement procedure will be automatically canceled unless there is another source of funding, in accordance with Article 212 paragraph (1) letter c) of Law 98/2016 and its subsequent amendments. Bidders in this procedure accept the use of the above special conditions/suspensive clause, assuming full responsibility for any damages they may incur in the described situation. The maximum period for which the suspensive clause operates is 6 months, so if the condition for signing the financing contract is not met, the procurement procedure is canceled. Bidders must extend the validity of their offers upon request from the Contracting Authority if the suspensive clause is applied. The number of days for requesting clarifications before the deadline for submitting offers is 16 days. If clarification requests or additional information are submitted within the established timeframe of 16 days, the contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information at least 12 days before the deadline for submitting offers, in accordance with Article 161 of Law no. 98/2016.
