Belgium – Radiotherapy Supplies – Acquisition of Immobilization Equipment for the Radiotherapy Service of CUSL

The CUSL Radiotherapy Service is seeking to replace and enhance the immobilization systems used in its three treatment rooms (equipped with Varian Edge, Halcyon, and Ethos accelerators) and in its simulation room (equipped with a Canon Aquilion Exceed LB simulator). The new systems must be identical across all treatment rooms, including the simulation room, and should provide an all-in-one solution for various treated conditions such as head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and limbs (upper and lower). They should also support complex techniques like stereotactic treatments and craniospinal irradiations. The contract includes the following responsibilities for the awarded supplier: 1. If applicable, dismantling and removal of the existing simulation CT cabinet without financial compensation; 2. Supply, delivery, commissioning, and testing of the new equipment and any options; 3. Training for staff (usage, maintenance, etc.); 4. Warranty for supplies and services; 5. Provision of required documentation. The solutions proposed must be compatible with existing equipment, including Varian Identify cameras, Varian Respiratory Gating for Scanners, Varian Visual Coaching Device, Orfit vacuum bags, Orfit heating device, and various treatment tables. The procurement process will follow an open procedure in accordance with Belgian and European advertising rules. The contract is divided into four lots: 1. Lot 1: Immobilization Equipment 2. Lot 2: Supply of Conventional Immobilization Consumables 3. Lot 3: Supply of Double Shell Mask Consumables. Options are available but not mandatory, and will be evaluated based on price and performance criteria. Specific required options for Lot 1 include a belly board, buyback of existing equipment, heating systems for thermoplastic masks, and storage space for the simulation CT. No options are required for Lots 2 and 3. Variants and free options are not permitted.
