Scaffolding Works for Museum Renovation

This contract involves scaffolding services for the renovation and remodeling of the historic Museum of Hamburg History. The project includes comprehensive modernization and renovation of all floors, focusing on necessary construction measures for the new permanent exhibition on the first and second floors, as well as the redesign and restructuring of visitor infrastructure, educational areas, museum shop, and restaurant. The museum has a net floor area of approximately 13,400 m² and a gross floor area of about 17,500 m², including a covered courtyard and outdoor facilities that will also be considered in the project. Due to limited space, a cross-trade general construction site setup will be required for the entire construction period. The construction site setup areas will be divided into several individual areas at the building entrances and will be added and cleared in phases. Access to the construction site will be secured, and transportation and lifting equipment will be coordinated by the contractor to ensure smooth site operations. After all construction work is completed, the outdoor facilities will be restored. The scope of scaffolding work includes: - Work and safety scaffolds oriented by length at specific areas of the facades - Interior facade scaffolding - Construction lifts with landing platforms (as space scaffolds) and stairways - Unloading platform and ramp - Platforms inside at openings - Catch scaffolds for roof work - Weather protection roof - Roof protection walls - Area scaffolds inside the building, especially in high rooms and staircases - Rolling scaffolds. Key tasks include: 3 construction lifts, each with a landing platform and stairway; 1 inclined lift; 1 unloading platform and ramp; 240 m² of exterior facade scaffolding; 122 m of roof protection walls; 480 m² of interior facade scaffolding; approximately 2,400 m³ of space scaffolding; 400 m³ of stair head scaffolding; and about 19 rolling scaffolds up to 8m high.
