Reinstatement of Archaeology Fields for A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Project

Kier Transportation is seeking experienced and qualified contractors to restore the archaeology fields associated with Scheme 6 of the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine project. This involves returning the land to grass and maintaining it until the main construction work begins on the A66 upgrade. The A66 project aims to convert single-lane sections of the 80km route between the M6 and A1 into dual carriageways and improve key junctions. The project will be executed in partnership with three Tier 1 contractors: Balfour Beatty, Kier, and Aureos.
