Autism Diagnostic Assessment Service Provider Accreditation

Thames Valley Integrated Care Board (TV ICB) is establishing an accreditation scheme for qualified providers to deliver Autism Diagnostic Assessment Services. This is a non-competitive accreditation process (Direct Award Process B under the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime 2023) where applications are assessed against published criteria rather than ranked. There is no limit to the number of providers that can be accredited. The accreditation operates under two separate lots: Lot 1 for Adult Services (age 18+) and Lot 2 for Children and Young People Services (ages 6-18). Providers may apply for one or both lots, submitting separate applications for each. An initial accreditation window will establish the first cohort of providers, after which an open accreditation arrangement will operate, allowing providers to apply at any time. Successful providers will enter into an NHS Standard Contract. Accreditation does not guarantee referrals, which will be determined by clinical appropriateness, patient choice, provider performance and capacity.
