    Brief

Kent County Council is seeking input from organizations for the future of its VCSE Led Mental Health Recovery and Prevention Services, currently known as Live Well Kent and Medway. This initiative aims to support individuals with mental health challenges by promoting recovery, preventing relapse, and improving overall health and social care outcomes. The services will focus on reducing suicide risk, combating the stigma associated with mental illness, and delaying the need for more intensive care. This is not a procurement opportunity but rather a chance to gather insights that will inform future service delivery. The service is designed to assist individuals with both Common Mental Illness (CMI) and Serious Mental Illness (SMI), ensuring they receive the necessary support throughout their recovery journey. We invite VCSE organizations, mental health providers, community groups, and digital service providers to participate in virtual engagement sessions scheduled for April 21-24, 2026. Interested parties must register by April 16, 2026, using the provided link. Each session will cover the current service overview and population needs, followed by discussions on vision, demand, outcomes, best practices, equity, and workforce sustainability.
