Home Care Services Contract Reopening

Cornwall Council is seeking additional home care providers to join existing alliances to address a current shortage of capacity in Lots 9 and 10. This initiative aims to enhance the availability of home care services in specific geographical areas where demand exceeds the current providers' capacity. The successful providers will work alongside existing alliances, which consist of multiple service providers collaborating to deliver care effectively within designated zones. Each alliance is led by a Strategic Provider responsible for managing service performance and coordinating care delivery. The primary goal of these services is to ensure that individuals, particularly older adults and those with physical disabilities, receive the appropriate care they need to remain safe, healthy, and independent at home. Services include personal care tasks, assistance with daily living activities, and community access support. The procurement is divided into eleven geographical lots, with contracts starting on October 19, 2024, for a maximum duration of eight years, including an initial three-year period.
