Fire Engineering Skills Hub – Doctoral Training and Postgraduate Programs

EPSRC, in partnership with MHCLG, is offering up to £5.9 million to establish a Fire Engineering Skills Hub. This funding supports the development and delivery of cohort-based doctoral training programs, high-quality postgraduate-level taught courses, and continuing professional development training in fire engineering. The hub aims to address critical skills gaps across the UK fire engineering community by training the next generation of fire engineers and providing upskilling opportunities for practicing professionals. Eligible organizations should have expertise in fire engineering education and capacity to deliver research-led training at doctoral and postgraduate levels.
