Brief

Ordnance Survey, Great Britain's national mapping agency, is seeking to enhance its remote sensed data capture capability to support the creation and maintenance of the National Map. The organisation currently operates its own aerial survey programmes to collect imagery for map production, the OS MasterMap Imagery Layer, and various OS products. This Request for Information (RFI) invites suppliers to propose solutions for providing aircraft, sensors, and software to support Ordnance Survey's aerial data capture requirements. Potential delivery options include: leasing aircraft with flying services; leasing or renting sensors and/or software; or selling sensors and/or software outright to Ordnance Survey. Respondents should describe how their capabilities and solutions meet the specified requirements and propose appropriate commercial arrangements for this ongoing operational need.
