Generator and Changeover Panel Replacement Across 5 Adult Healthcare Sites

This project involves replacing automatic changeover panels that link backup generators to main electrical systems at 5 adult healthcare facilities. The contractor will act as the main contractor, appointing specialist sub-contractors and managing all works across multiple sites. Key activities include: installing new generator changeover panels (by specialist contractor DQM), installing new bypass switches where required, and providing continuous support for life safety systems, building management systems, and other critical operational systems. All sites operate 24/7, requiring full electrical shutdowns with maintained critical life safety support. The main contractor must coordinate with on-site incumbent maintenance contractor Corrigenda, lift specialists, and fire and security alarm specialists during mains isolation and re-energization to ensure all systems return to full operational status. Works must be completed within 6 weeks across all five locations: Marlfield (Alton), Oakridge House (Basingstoke), Ticehurst (Aldershot), Westholme (Winchester), and Emsworth (Emsworth).
