National Firearms Licensing Management System Replacement

BlueLight Commercial Ltd, on behalf of Police Digital Services, is seeking a supplier to deliver a replacement National Firearms Licensing Management System (NFLMS). The system will serve all 43 Police Forces in England and Wales, enabling them to record the grant, renewal, and revocation of firearms licenses. The platform will also maintain Home Office licensing information for explosives, explosive precursors, and poisons. A single supplier will be responsible for full service delivery. The contract may be expanded to include Police Scotland and the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) at a later stage if required. Suppliers should be prepared to support a critical national system used across multiple police forces.
