Fire Risk Assessment Services Contract

Derby City Council is seeking qualified suppliers to deliver fire risk assessment services through an open tender process under the Procurement Act 2023 and Procurement Regulations 2024. The initial contract runs for two years (1 October 2026 to 30 September 2028) with an optional three-year extension available in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance, with a maximum contract duration of five years. The total estimated contract value is £768,000, comprising a core contract value of £192,000 for current known service requirements and an additional estimated value of £576,000 to account for potential scope changes or volume increases arising from Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) activities. LGR may result in increased service demand, expansion to new geographical areas, or provision to new client groups during the contract period. These financial figures are estimates provided at an early stage and the Council cannot guarantee these amounts, but intends to build flexibility into the contract to accommodate future needs as they arise.
