    Brief

Opportunity to deliver trauma-informed mentoring services across 8 primary schools in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County, plus community spaces. The program supports children showing early signs of educational disengagement, those at risk of exclusion, and those affected by serious violence. Mentors will provide one-to-one support using a complex needs approach, helping students develop positive behaviors, communication skills, resilience, and improved educational outcomes. Mentors will work alongside school safeguarding and pastoral teams, with support from the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Violence Reduction Partnership (NNVRP) for school identification and initial engagement. The role may extend to family support where appropriate. This is a preventative initiative designed to re-engage vulnerable children and keep them in education.
