East Cheshire and Warrington (ECW) is seeking a service provider to deliver integrated business support services through the Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub. The successful bidder will provide flexible, responsive support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the region, addressing current fragmentation in service provision and gaps created by recent funding reductions. Key responsibilities include: hands-on adviser support, business readiness services, practical delivery, follow-up support, and clear referral pathways to complementary services at national, regional, and local levels. The service will be embedded within the existing Growth Hub and designed to integrate with the National Business Growth Service, ensuring businesses receive timely, proportionate support. This is a 12-month interim contract with quarterly reviews, intended to maintain continuity during the transition to a Combined Authority-led service while establishing a scalable, adaptable model.
