Saltash Guildhall Internal Refurbishment and Modernization

Saltash Town Council is inviting tenders from qualified contractors for comprehensive internal refurbishment works at the Guildhall, Lower Fore Street, Saltash. The project will modernize the building to support updated council operations and meeting functions while maintaining safe occupancy throughout. Key works include: designing and installing a custom horseshoe-shaped council chamber desk for approximately 20 members; supplying and installing audio-visual and hybrid meeting technology including Microsoft Teams connectivity, microphones, displays, and speakers; installing an assisted listening system; upgrading electrical, power, and data infrastructure across the First Floor Long Room, Ground Floor Council Chamber, and Clerk's Office; replacing heating radiators in the Council Chamber; installing acoustic underlay and new carpet in the First Floor Long Room; and providing all associated commissioning, testing, certification, training, and remedial works. Contractors must demonstrate experience in managing projects within occupied civic buildings and ensure continuous safe building operation throughout the contract period.
