Saltash Guildhall Internal Refurbishment and Modernisation Works

Saltash Town Council is inviting tenders from qualified contractors for comprehensive internal refurbishment works at the Guildhall, Lower Fore Street, Saltash. This project will adapt the building to support modern council operations and hybrid meeting capabilities. Key works include: - Design and installation of custom horseshoe-shaped council chamber desking for approximately 20 users - Audio-visual systems including Microsoft Teams connectivity, microphones, displays, speakers and control systems for hybrid meetings - Assisted listening system installation - Electrical, power and data infrastructure upgrades across three areas: First Floor Long Room, Ground Floor Council Chamber, and Clerk's Office - Heating system upgrades including radiator replacement in the Council Chamber - Acoustic treatment and new carpet installation in the First Floor Long Room - Full commissioning, testing, electrical certification, staff training and site reinstatement The works must be completed within an occupied civic building, requiring contractors to maintain safe operations and building security throughout the project duration. Contractors should be experienced in working within active public buildings and have expertise in audio-visual systems, electrical infrastructure and refurbishment works.
