ST CRID Manufacture, Supply and Maintenance Services

This is an ongoing procurement opportunity for the manufacture, supply, and maintenance of ST CRIDs (Security and Transport Critical Remote Interface Devices). Currently, approximately 4,000 units are operational across the network and require regular maintenance, repairs, renewals, and recalibrations to remain safe and functional. Although ST CRIDs were originally expected to be superseded by the PCRID contract, this transition is no longer anticipated, necessitating a revised long-term strategy. Until a permanent solution is implemented, immediate support is required for outstanding, current, and future maintenance needs over an 18-month period. The contract value sought is £600,000, based on an average periodic spend of approximately £25,000. The procuring organization intends to negotiate and establish a formal supply and repair agreement with a qualified supplier to ensure continuous operational capability and safety compliance across the network.
