The organization regularly performs lineside maintenance to preserve track profile and quality, which results in excavation of used ballast and soil materials. These materials are temporarily stockpiled at various compounds and depots along the railway network throughout Ireland. The consultant must analyze and classify this waste to determine appropriate options for material recovery, recycling, or disposal.
