Festive Lighting Scheme for Melton Town Centre

Melton Borough Council is seeking a contractor to design, supply (on hire basis), install, maintain, monitor, and remove a festive lighting scheme for the town centre. The scheme aims to enhance the town's appearance during the festive season, boost the local economy, and increase visitor footfall. The successful contractor will provide a complete turnkey solution including: • Design development and proposals • Supply of festive lighting equipment (hire basis) • Installation, testing, and commissioning • Infrastructure certification • Ongoing maintenance and fault response • Attendance at the annual switch-on event • Remote-controlled switch-on for maximum visual impact • Timer-controlled daily operation until 12th night • Removal and secure storage • Annual review and scheme refresh recommendations Submissions must be made by 2nd October 2026 at 12:00 noon via the ProContract portal.
