BFI Film Programme Process Evaluation (2023-2029)

The British Film Institute (BFI) is seeking an evaluator to conduct a process evaluation of two major National Lottery-funded programmes: the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN) and BFI NETWORK. The evaluation will cover the period from 2023 to 2029. Both programmes deliver services across the UK, with FAN and NETWORK operating through devolved decision-making structures involving multiple organisations across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This evaluation is critical to assessing how effectively these programmes achieve the BFI's Screen Culture 2033 strategy and National Lottery objectives, particularly regarding UK-wide access to funding and opportunities for screen culture communities, audiences, and creative professionals. The evaluator will examine the delivery models, regional/national coordination, and the impact of place-based provision across all four nations.
