Lifting and Fall Arrest Equipment: Maintenance, Testing, and Certification Services

This contract provides comprehensive maintenance, repair, supply, and certification services for lifting and fall arrest equipment across a client's estate of approximately 26,000 items. The contractor will manage circa 10,000 items per annum per Lot, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Key responsibilities include: planned preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems; reactive and remedial repairs; equipment testing and certification; supply of new equipment and materials; asset condition assessment and data capture; project work and equipment upgrades; production of detailed work records and management information reports; and professional recommendations for equipment improvements. The contractor must ensure full legislative compliance for all lifting, fall arrest, and pressure systems equipment while supporting the client's mechanical and electrical management strategy. This is an ongoing contract with potential volume variations throughout the contract period.
