Exhibition and Event Traffic Management Services for Harrogate Convention Centre

Harrogate Convention Centre (HCC) is seeking a qualified contractor to manage traffic operations for exhibitions, conferences and events at their venue. Key responsibilities include: developing event-specific traffic management plans, implementing traffic control measures, managing vehicle holding areas and access routes (including the Dragon Road Holding Area), administering traffic regulation orders, and supervising trained traffic management operatives during event setup and breakdown. The contractor will coordinate with HCC's Traffic & Logistics Manager to deliver traffic operations across designated venue areas, operate the venue traffic booking system, conduct daily briefings, liaise with stakeholders, provide temporary traffic management arrangements, and deliver post-event reports. The successful contractor must provide competent supervisory and stewarding personnel qualified to manage complex exhibition traffic environments while maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements, traffic management standards, and event procedures. A professional, customer-focused approach is essential for serving exhibitors, contractors and visitors.
