    Brief

    This procurement seeks qualified suppliers to provide in-service support, repair, and refurbishment services for Main Circulating Water Pumps (MCWPs) used on naval submarines. The successful supplier must have the following capabilities: (1) ownership of or unlimited access to a dedicated pump testing facility; (2) adequate storage capacity to manage multiple MCWPs simultaneously; (3) an established supply chain network to source required parts and materials independently; (4) qualified and experienced personnel capable of conducting health checks, strip and surveys, and producing associated technical reports; and (5) surveying expertise to accurately estimate repair costs and lead times to A1 standard specifications. This procurement does not include the manufacture or purchase of new pumps. The contract term will be a minimum of 5 years and will be competed under the Procurement Act 2023 regulations using a competitive flexible procedure.
