    Brief

The Council is seeking a qualified provider to deliver Public Health Nursing Services for children and young people aged 0 to 19 years (extended to age 25 for care leavers and those with special educational needs and disabilities). The service will implement the Healthy Child Programme, a national evidence-based model that provides universal and targeted nursing support across the child's journey. Key service objectives include: ensuring healthy child development from birth, identifying and addressing health needs at an early stage, preventing health problems before they develop, supporting school readiness and academic learning, protecting vulnerable children and families, and reducing health inequalities. The successful supplier will work collaboratively with schools, health services, local authority partners, and families to deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing interventions and health promotion activities.
