Traffic Management for Crawley Borough Council

Crawley Borough Council seeks a qualified contractor to provide traffic management services to ensure safe working conditions for Council operatives during highway maintenance activities. Services are required for litter clearance operations along public roads, grass cutting, and street sweeping on various routes including the A23, A264, A2011, and A2220 high-speed dual carriageways, as well as other roads as needed. The Council also provides maintenance services on behalf of West Sussex County Council on designated high-speed roads. The contract runs for 3 years from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with an optional 2-year extension available until 30 September 2031, subject to contractor performance and Council approval. Tenderers should be experienced in traffic management on high-speed roads and able to mobilize quickly to support multiple maintenance operations across the borough.
