Telecoms Association of UK Water Industry (TAUWI) Support Services Provider

This is a comprehensive support services contract for the Telecoms Association of UK Water Industry (TAUWI). The successful supplier will serve as the technical, regulatory, administrative, and strategic partner to TAUWI, a telecoms group for the water industry. Key responsibilities include: managing Ofcom-allocated radio spectrum (frequency planning, licensing, interference resolution); organising and supporting TAUWI and Technical Working Group meetings; providing telecommunications advice to members on systems, licences, and emerging technologies; maintaining robust cybersecurity and data protection measures aligned with NCSC and NIS Regulations; managing financial administration including licence fees and Ofcom payments; maintaining IT systems, databases, and spectrum planning tools; processing windfarm applications that may impact telecom operations; engaging with key stakeholders (Ofcom, DEFRA, Water UK, industry groups); and delivering quarterly and annual performance reports. The supplier must hold ISO 9001 and relevant cybersecurity certifications (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus), ensure secure data storage with encryption and access controls, and be fully operational by the agreed start date. Service level failures may result in contract termination.
