    Brief

    The Force is seeking a qualified MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Clerk of Works for a 20-month refurbishment project of a five-storey building. The successful contractor will oversee the installation and compliance of both existing and new MEP plant and systems, acting as the Employer's representative to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project. Key Requirements: • Qualified MEP Clerk of Works with relevant experience • On-site attendance minimum twice weekly, with flexibility for urgent issues • Based within 40 miles of the Force HQ site in Newcastle upon Tyne (Cobalt 9, 3 Quick Silver Way, West Allotment, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE27 0QQ) • Ability to respond promptly to site issues as they arise • Duration: Approximately 20 months This role is essential for maintaining quality control and ensuring compliance with installation standards during a complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing refurbishment.
