Station Painting and Platform Lining Framework Agreement

Northern Trains Limited (NTL) is establishing a multi-lot framework agreement for station painting and platform lining services across its network of stations, train care centres, and operational properties. This framework will appoint up to four suppliers for each of the following service areas: Lot 1 (Station Painting) and Lot 2 (Platform Lining). Selected suppliers will deliver high-quality maintenance services tailored to specific location needs while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, industry best practices, and manufacturer guidance. Key objectives include maintaining safe and comfortable environments for passengers, demonstrating value for money, and maximizing asset longevity. NTL will call off services as required under the framework. The framework may also be extended to TransPennine Express (TPE) subject to governance approval. The agreement may be novated or assigned to other Train Operating Companies or their parent entities following corporate restructuring. NTL reserves the right not to appoint any suppliers and will not be liable for supplier costs.
