Sales Training and Mentoring for University Cybersecurity Teams

Innovate UK Business Connect is seeking a service provider to design and deliver customised sales training to 14 university teams developing cybersecurity proof of concept products. The service provider will conduct individual team meetings to develop customer personas, deliver an introductory session in September 2026, and facilitate a 2-day sales training workshop in November 2026 in London. Content must be adaptable for online delivery if needed. The role includes designing course materials (slides and printed handouts), conducting 60-90 minute online meetings with each team, delivering whole-cohort workshops, facilitating role-play exercises using customer personas, and providing individual and consolidated feedback reports. Ad-hoc mentoring on startups, MVP development, and investment planning is also expected. The project runs from 10 September 2026 to 15 December 2026, with deliverables including course materials, individual team feedback, and a final consolidated report with recommendations for future delivery. The contract value is £32,000-£36,000 including VAT, with 50% payment upon introductory session completion and 50% upon final report approval.
