Managed Security Operations Centre Services for University of Salford

The University of Salford seeks a managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) provider to deliver comprehensive security monitoring and incident response services. The service will augment the university's internal information security team and provide 24/7/365 operational coverage. Key deliverables include: initial triage and analysis of security events, expert advice and guidance on significant incidents, maintenance and tuning of the Microsoft Sentinel SIEM platform, and targeted threat intelligence. The provider will work alongside the existing small internal security team to protect the university's extensive community of 26,000 students, 2,800 staff members, and 170,000 alumni. This procurement is conducted under the NWUPC Software Licence Resellers Agreement (SLRA) Lot 1 for Microsoft & Associated Services.
