Electrical Safety Inspections and Compliance Services for Residential Housing Portfolio

Trent & Dove Housing invites suppliers to participate in preliminary market engagement for electrical installation condition report (EICR) services across its housing portfolio of approximately 6,300 domestic properties. This procurement will support the organization's statutory and regulatory obligations to maintain 100% electrical safety compliance. The contract scope includes conducting electrical inspections and testing in accordance with BS 7671 and the Electricity at Work Regulations, identifying and classifying electrical defects, completing remedial works for identified issues, providing digital certifications and compliance records, managing resident appointments and access, and offering technical advice on electrical compliance and asset management. The anticipated contract duration is three years with options to extend for two additional twelve-month periods. Through this market engagement, Trent & Dove Housing seeks supplier input on contract structure, service delivery models, workforce qualifications, quality assurance methods, resident communication strategies, digital compliance platforms, sustainability approaches, and emerging regulatory requirements. Feedback will inform the final procurement strategy, service specifications, and tender documentation. Note that participation in this engagement does not provide any competitive advantage in the subsequent procurement process.
