UK Home Office Quality Assurance and Testing Services - Pre-Market Engagement

The UK Home Office is consolidating its Quality Assurance and Testing (QAT) services into two main contracts, each worth up to £150 million over a minimum 3-year term, with completion by Autumn 2027. This is a pre-market engagement opportunity for suppliers to provide feedback on the procurement strategy before formal tendering begins. The Authority will compete these contracts through the GCA Dynamic Purchasing System (RM6148), though pre-market engagement is open to all suppliers. Key discussion topics include: route to market, transition planning, performance indicators and service credits, cost drivers, innovation and AI applications, required roles and capabilities, tooling and hardware needs, SME inclusion, transition from Programme to Product SDLC, and transformation from Quality Assurance to Quality Engineering. The engagement begins with an in-person event on Monday 27 July from 10:30 to 13:00 at TechUK, 10 Saint Bride Street, London EC4A 4AD.
