LNER On-Train WiFi Solution Procurement

LNER seeks to procure a comprehensive next-generation WiFi solution for its fleet of 65 trains (43 nine-car and 22 five-car trains, with 10 additional nine-car trains planned). The solution must provide high-quality wireless connectivity to passengers and staff across the entire fleet. Scope includes: hardware provision and installation, end-user service delivery, data backhaul services, user authentication, and data capture capabilities. This is a competitive flexible procurement open exclusively to current members of the GCA Dynamic Market RM6370 Space Technology Solutions. Eligible suppliers must hold membership under one or more of these part numbers: 143 (SATCOM User Terminal), 205 (Up-Link and Down-Link Services), 210 (Communication Services), 235 (SATCOM Ground Segment Services), 236 (SATCOM User Terminal Services), 237 (SATCOM Management Services), or 240 (SATCOM Security Services). Important: Suppliers must be admitted Dynamic Market members by the tender deadline. Applications to join must be submitted by 23 September 2026. Suppliers not yet admitted should submit evidence of their application with their tender response.
