    Brent Council is commissioning a comprehensive Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) to support young families in the Borough through Brent Best Start Family Hubs, aligned with national 'Giving Every Child the Best Start in Life' guidance (2025). The service addresses parent-infant relationship concerns and mild to moderate perinatal mental health needs. Key Provider Responsibilities: • Assess and support maternal and infant mental health and emotional wellbeing, with focus on the mother-infant relationship • Evaluate family functioning and its impact on parent-infant relationships • Develop personalised family wellbeing and support plans • Deliver short-term, outcome-focused interventions and make appropriate referrals • Monitor ongoing maternal and infant mental health • Connect families with peer support services and relevant resources • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with Children's Social Care, Health Visiting, CAHMS, and safeguarding services • Work with other providers to ensure culturally responsive, diverse service provision for Brent's varied communities • Coordinate pathways across services to create coherent, integrated support Market Engagement Event: Wednesday 2nd September 2026, 1pm–3pm.
