Refurbishment of Multi Use Games Area

Trowbridge Town Council is seeking tenders from qualified suppliers to refurbish the existing Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) located in Trowbridge Park. The project involves upgrading the current facility to a 3G cork infill pitch with proper drainage, adhering to the specifications set by the Football Foundation. Interested companies must be members of the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA). The MUGA is centrally located in Trowbridge Town Park, with the specific location identified as ///digitally.gasping.fingertip. The existing MUGA has been heavily used and was last resurfaced over five years ago. Recent issues with drainage on the current tarmacadam surface have prompted the need for this upgrade. Tender submissions must include a detailed financial cost statement, example Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs), relevant case studies, insurance details, and any other pertinent information. The Town Council will evaluate submissions based on a matrix that weighs quality at 60% and price at 40%. Please note that the Council is not obligated to accept the lowest bid and will not cover any expenses incurred by tenderers in preparing their submissions. All rates and prices must be exclusive of VAT. A formal contract will be established with the successful tenderer for the renovation of the MUGA.
