The Scottish Legal Complaints Commission (SLCC) is seeking to appoint up to three legal service providers under a Framework Agreement to deliver a range of legal services from 2026 to 2030. Based on historical spending data, the SLCC has averaged £266,879 annually over the last four years, with total spend of £1,067,516 in that period. However, no minimum spend is guaranteed as all work is demand-led. Legal services required include: representation in Court of Session appeals (Inner House), judicial review proceedings (Outer House), general litigation in sheriff courts and tribunals, regulatory and employment law advice, guidance on human rights and freedom of information legislation, debt recovery, general business advice, and specialist advice related to complaints received by the SLCC. Suitable candidates should have experience in Scottish legal practice and public sector law.
