School Presenter Services Tender - Market Engagement Event

Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) is seeking experienced providers to deliver interactive, curriculum-aligned school sessions at six historic sites: Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace, and Hillsborough Castle. This tender is for the provision of School Presenter Services, with applications opening in August 2026 and contract award expected in early 2027. The contract will run for three years from mid-2027, with an option to extend for two additional years. The successful provider will deliver approximately 3,500 educational sessions annually to over 100,000 pupils, covering Key Stage 1 through Key Stage 5, as well as SEND groups. Sessions feature presenters in historical costume delivering engaging, interactive content in History and English, held both within the palaces and in on-site learning centres. The provider will also co-develop schools content with HRP's Schools Team and occasionally deliver community sessions, home educator sessions, and teacher training days. Eligible applicants must demonstrate: experience delivering high-quality, historically informed interactive sessions in heritage or museum settings; organisational capacity to manage a demanding multi-site programme reliably; ability to deliver at scale across multiple sites daily; commitment to inclusive practice for diverse audiences; and robust safeguarding policies and procedures. Agencies and consortiums are not eligible, though sub-contracting is permitted with HRP agreement.
