Clean Energy Skills Regional Implementation Consultant

Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington (ECW) is seeking a consultant or small team to implement the Clean Energy Skills Regional Action Plan (CESRAP) through March 31st, 2027. This role involves coordinating with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and the North West Net Zero Hub to deliver skills interventions that address gaps in clean energy workforce development. The CESRAP, developed through extensive stakeholder and employer engagement, identifies critical skills shortages and proposes targeted interventions to prepare local people, employers, and supply chains for the clean energy transition. You will need to identify and provide one to two people as Regional Leads working part-time throughout the project duration. This is a funded opportunity that supports the Government's Clean Energy Jobs Plan by creating a practical, adaptable framework for long-term regional collaboration and immediate skills delivery. Successful applicants will help shape how the North West region builds its clean energy workforce to meet growing demand through 2030 and beyond.
