This service provides specialist mental health support via NHS 111 for individuals in crisis, available 24/7 across adult (18+ years) and children/young people (under 18 years) pathways. The provider will be responsible for call access, triage, and call management only, while AWP retains all clinical assessment and decision-making responsibilities. The service must operate within a collaborative matrix management model, working seamlessly with urgent and emergency care, crisis services, community mental health teams, acute hospitals, ambulance services, primary care, and voluntary sector partners.
