LED Street Lighting Upgrade Phase 2

This contract involves upgrading the street lighting in Broseley by replacing existing sodium street lights with energy-efficient LED lights. The project requires professional advice on the design and selection of the LED lighting system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (BS5489 and BSEN 13201-3:2015). Suppliers must provide a detailed cost estimate for replacing 49 sodium street lights and 59 concrete columns with new steel or aluminum columns, including disconnection costs for the old columns. The proposal should include specifications for the new columns and lanterns, including material and color temperature, as well as safe disposal of the existing sodium lamps and concrete columns. Additionally, suppliers should outline traffic management plans in accordance with Chapter 8 and CDM procedures, detail expected energy savings and maintenance features, and include costs for any necessary grass reinstatement and surface matching after excavation. The lighting system should allow for adjustments post-installation, and all costs should be itemized.
