    Brief

The City of London Corporation is seeking suppliers to provide a mentoring program aimed at supporting care-experienced and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) young people across all London boroughs. The program will focus on building long-term mentor-mentee relationships, lasting at least one year, to help these young individuals develop trust, set achievable goals, and work towards positive outcomes in their personal and professional lives. Key aspects of the program include: - **Targeted Interventions**: Delivering tailored mentoring services that meet the specific needs of the young people involved. - **Long-Term Relationships**: Establishing mentor relationships that allow for sufficient time to foster trust and achieve meaningful goals, with options for mid-term reviews and extensions. - **Personal and Professional Development**: Supporting mentees in enhancing their employability, building career networks, and developing essential life skills such as resilience and well-being. - **Leveraging Networks**: Utilizing the City of London Corporation's extensive professional networks to provide career guidance and opportunities. - **Diversity and Best Practices**: Ensuring a diverse pool of mentors and implementing effective matching processes, along with robust monitoring and evaluation to demonstrate the program's impact. The tender evaluation will consider quality (45%), price (40%), and responsible procurement (15%). The contract value is £246,540, with an optional one-year extension. A voluntary standstill period of 10 calendar days will be observed, concluding on 27/06/2025, unless a legal challenge is raised.
