    Brief

Nottingham City Council is seeking an experienced provider to deliver a trauma-informed support programme for parents who have experienced child removal through care proceedings. The service will provide sustained, relationship-based support over 12-18 months, helping parents improve their wellbeing, emotional resilience, and stability while addressing complex needs and trauma. Key outcomes include supporting safer family environments, reducing domestic abuse exposure, decreasing crisis service use, and preventing repeat care proceedings. Delivery includes one-to-one support, home and community outreach, and agency coordination to help parents access services. Support must be available to mothers, fathers, partners, and non-resident parents with flexible appointments including evening and outreach provision. Where appropriate and safe, the service may help parents maintain relationships with their children. Contract start: 1 April 2027. Initial term: 3 years with options to extend for two further 1-year periods (maximum 5 years). Estimated total value: £1,500,000 excluding VAT over the full contract term. Mandatory requirements: complete pricing schedule must be submitted; annual costs cannot exceed £300,000; at least 50% of total contract costs must be allocated to frontline staff.
