    Brief

This project involves developing a new trailhead and 480-meter walking trail in Tuamgraney, County Clare, Ireland, to connect the village to the existing Killaloe-Ballycuggeran-Ogonnelloe trail network. Upon completion, this will create a continuous 17-kilometer rural walking route along the shores of Lough Derg between Killaloe and Scarriff. The development site is located on the R463 road, 100 meters south of Tuamgraney village center, with the trail beginning at Tuamgraney Castle and St. Cronin's Church and extending 500 meters toward Ogonnelloe. The project scope includes: demolition of existing road surfaces, construction of a new trail, narrowing of the road hard shoulder to accommodate a new footpath along the R463, excavation and earthworks, pavement construction, and installation of surface water drainage infrastructure. This initiative aims to enhance regional tourism and recreational amenities while improving connectivity between rural settlements.
