Electrical Contractor for Wakefield District Housing Maintenance and Upgrades

Vico Homes Ltd is seeking a single electrical contractor to provide comprehensive electrical services across the Wakefield District and wider operating area. The successful contractor will be responsible for electrical works including: strategic void properties (vacant units requiring upgrades before re-letting), strategic improvement programme projects, electrical testing, and planned and emergency repairs and maintenance on both occupied homes and independent living schemes. The contractor must be capable of responding to emergency call-outs. The contract will run for an initial 36-month period with a possible 12-month extension (maximum 48 months) subject to satisfactory performance. Estimated annual spend is £850,000 (including VAT). TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) regulations may apply; bidders must complete and submit a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access TUPE information from the current contractor, which is mandatory for submitting a compliant bid. Bids submitted without evidence of TUPE information review will be rejected.
