Electrical Testing and Remedial Works Service

This opportunity involves providing comprehensive electrical installation testing and remedial works services. Contractors will conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), perform agreed remedial electrical repairs, and undertake full property rewires where necessary. Services include producing satisfactory certification within a 5-year programme cycle, uploading certificates via the Qualis portal, and conducting electrical inspections and testing across communal areas. Additional responsibilities include landlord lighting tests with duration assessments and labelling of distribution boards and circuits. All work must comply with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671), Building Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and NHF Schedule of Rates 7.1. Contractors must hold accreditation from NICEIC, CHAS, and Constructionline, and will be subject to ongoing performance monitoring and KPI reporting. The service prioritises consistent quality, convenient customer appointments, minimising no-access visits, and following variation guidance for cost certainty.
