Insulation Contractor Needed for Stopford House Energy Efficiency Project

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a contractor to improve the energy performance of Stopford House, a multi-storey office building in Stockport town centre (SK1 3XE). The project involves two separate workstreams: installing insulation in window alcoves throughout the office areas and upgrading insulation in the plant room. Both workstreams will be priced and reviewed independently but form part of the same overall energy efficiency initiative. The 14-week contract requires working within an occupied building in a constrained urban location with active pedestrian traffic and neighbouring properties. Contractors must carefully plan access, material movements, and construction activities around the building's existing structure, mechanical and electrical services, and operational plant.
