    Brief

Stockport Council Adult Social Care is seeking suppliers and partners for the development of the St Thomas' Centre for Living Well, a new Intermediate Care facility opening Spring 2027. This ambitious project will transform the former St Thomas' hospital site into a modern, innovative care and residential community. The facility will feature Households of home-like accommodation designed to help people regain independence, alongside a mixed-use residential development with refurbished listed buildings and new sustainable homes. The project aims to create an inter-generational community with town centre amenities. We are engaging with the market to identify potential partners, contractors, service providers, and suppliers who can contribute to delivering high-quality design, construction, facilities management, and care services that meet our vision of independence and best outcomes for residents.
